Power of Prayer

Recently my husband and I experienced again the power of prayer. We have a business for just under two years now, and like any other new businesses the first two years can be really challenging in a mental and financial way! At the beginning of February I informed my husband how much I will need at the end of the month from the business to pay all our expenses and bills. It was a lot of money I needed and looking at our financial situation at the time, things looked really grim. But, as always, I believed God will hear my voice.
That same week at our regular church service at Casey, we decided at the end of the service to make use of the opportunity to go to the front for prayer. We always prayed regularly for our business on our own too, but never had someone else pray or bless our business. A beautiful man prayed for both of us and our business that day.
The relief came two weeks later and slowly the business proved to survive again. After a month, we looked back and realised that God has provided almost double the amount we asked for. Do not ever underestimate the power of prayer, and do not be shy to go the front of church for prayer. We know there will be difficult times again, but we also know God uses this business to bring us closer to him. Thank you Jesus!
