Board of Elders
The role of the board of elders is to be the primary governance group of the church, responsible for providing spiritual oversight and ensuring the ongoing health and growth of the church and its ministries. While the day-to-day running of the church is handled by the senior minister, the senior leadership team

Andrew Hill (Senior Minister)
Andrew became the senior minister of CityLife Church in 2017. As the senior minister he is responsible for all aspects of the church vision, including leadership, preaching and teaching, and external relationships. Andrew is a leader of leaders with a proven track record in leading and developing both staff and volunteer teams and seeing those teams unite behind a common mission and vision to achieve desired outcomes. Andrew has a wealth of experience across a vast range of church ministries in large church environments. He not only believes in team ministry but also in seeing each team member being able to bring their best to the table through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.
Andrew has a Bachelor of Ministry, Graduate Diploma of Theology and a Master of Arts in Church Practise. Andrew is married to Leanne and together they have three young adult children Emily, Stephanie and Joshua.
Liz became a partner of CityLife Church in 2007. She serves in a number of ministry areas including Life Group leadership and coaching. She holds a degree in electrical and electronics engineering (Hons) and is currently working in a management role in the telecommunications IT industry. Liz is married to Cheno and they have two children, daughter Mischa and son Joel.
Michael joined CityLife Church in 2007 with his wife, Gwen and their two sons, Joshua and Daniel. Michael is an entrepreneur and chartered engineer who promotes sustainable solutions such as solar renewables for the developing world. He ministers regularly in South East Asia and is pursuing his Doctor of Ministry, at Fuller Theological Seminary. He lectures part-time at Harvest Bible College, Melbourne where he earned a Master of Arts in Ministry. He is also a Life Group coach.
Andrea has been part of CityLife Church since 2002. She has a law degree (Hons) from the University of London and has worked in the legal and corporate governance area for over 10 years. Andrea is currently working part-time, responsible for the legal and financial matters in a number of businesses run by her husband. She has served for many years on the creative arts team and is currently involved in Kids ministry. Andrea is married to Ben and they have two small children.
Peter has been a part of CityLife Church for over 40 years and has served in many areas. He currently plays cello in the creative arts team, serves as a team leader in the kids ministry and volunteers at Southern Cross Kids' Camps. Peter has degrees in veterinary science and psychology and runs his own veterinary practice. He is married to Liz and they have three children, Joshua, Benjamin and Gabrielle.
Daljit has been part of CityLife Church since 1988, and a member of the eldership team since 1993. Daljit is an associate minister with responsibility of all pastoral ministries and Life Groups, he oversees all of the multi-sites, generational ministries, men’s events and the LifeTrax training programs. He is well- known for his passionate communication style and motivational energy which inspires many toward their full potential. Daljit is married to Gurmit and together they have two adult children.
Sarah Watson has been attending CityLife Church Casey for over five years with her husband, Owen, and their two teenage daughters. She is serving passionately as a venue manager at CityLife Church Casey, as well as being actively involved in Life Group ministry. Sarah currently works as an operations and planning manager for a university and has held previous positions in state government administration and management in businesses that she and her husband have owned.
Peter Sheahan served as an elder from 1987 – 2006 and as the Chair of the previous CityLife Board of Directors until our change in governance structure in 2006. Peter is the Principal of Waverley Christian College, a position he has held since 1985. He has been actively involved in a wide variety of ministries within CityLife over the last 34 years. Peter is married to Mardi and they have three adult children
Peter Leigh served as an elder from 1997 – 2013. Peter is currently the Executive Minister and is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the church, managing the senior leadership team and aligning the activities of our ministries with our vision. He has been a staff member since 1993 and a partner since 1982. He is married to Linda and they have three children - two young adults and one teenager.
