Board of Elders


The role of the Board of Elders is to be the primary governance group of the church, responsible for providing spiritual oversight and ensuring the ongoing health and growth of the church and its ministries. While the day-to-day running of the church is handled by the Senior Minister, the Senior Leadership Team, and the staff, the Board of Elders hold the Senior Minister accountable and give attention to the overall vision, direction and health of the church. Peter Sheahan (Chair)

Peter Sheahan served as an elder from 1987 – 2006 and as the Chair of the previous CityLife Board of Directors until our change in governance structure in 2006. Peter was re-elected as an elder in 2016 and has appointed by the Board of Elders to the role of Chair annually since then. Peter is the Principal of Waverley Christian College, a position he has held since 1985. He has been actively involved in a wide variety of ministries within CityLife over the last 34 years. Peter is married to Mardi and they have three adult children.



Andrew Hill (Senior Minister)

Andrew became the Senior Minister of CityLife Church in 2017. As the Senior Minister he is responsible for all aspects of the church vision, including leadership, preaching and teaching, and external relationships. Andrew has a wealth of experience across a vast range of church ministries in large church environments.

Andrew has a Bachelor of Ministry, Graduate Diploma of Theology and a Master of Arts in Church Practise. Andrew is married to Leanne and together they have three young adult children Emily, Stephanie and Joshua.



Andrea Stickland

Andrea has been an elder since 2011. Andrea became a partner of CityLife Church in 2003. She has a Law Degree (Hons) from The University of London and has worked in the legal and corporate governance area for over 13 years. She has served on the worship team and in CityLife Kids. Andrea is married to Ben and they have two primary school aged children.



Marg Perry

Marg joined CityLife Church in 2014 and serves in the areas of Life Group leadership; teaching and preaching. She has a Bachelor of Arts; Diploma of Education; and is currently completing a Master of Arts in Ministry. Her background is in education and ministry, having worked in schools, higher education environments, and for many years pastoring in a local church. Marg established and was CEO of a Registered Training Organisation, which offered business and theology qualifications, combining her twin passions for training and pastoral ministry. Marg is also passionate about social justice and recently moved into a managerial role with Samaritan’s Purse Australia, assisting with aid relief and child poverty in the Asia Pacific region. Marg is married to Jim and they have three young adult children.



Liz Thong

Liz became a partner of CityLife Church in 2007. She serves in a number of ministry areas including Life Group leadership and coaching. She holds a degree in electrical and electronics engineering (Hons) and is currently working in a management role in the telecommunications IT industry. Liz is married to Cheno and they have two children.



Mark Eddison

Mark has been a partner of CityLife Church since 1989 and, after returning from three years interstate, renewed his partnership in 2000. He serves in the Creative Ministries team as vocalist and musician and has served as a Council member of WCC since 2005. Mark has Engineering (Mech.) degree and an MBA. He has worked in the capital equipment industry for 28 years and held the role of Business Manager for CityLife Church for seven years from 2007 to 2014. Mark is married to Tina and they have three young adult children.



Michael Loke

Michael has been an elder since 2011. Michael became a partner of CityLife Church in 2007 and serves in a number of ministry areas including Life Group leadership and coaching. He is a retired chartered engineer, ministers regularly in South East Asia and is pursuing a Doctor of Ministry at Fuller Theological Seminary. Michael is married to Gwen and together they have two adult children.



Peter Green

Peter has been a part of CityLife for over 40 years and has served in many areas of the church. He currently plays cello in the band, serves as a team leader in the Kids ministry and volunteers at Southern Cross Kids' Camps. Peter has degrees in veterinary science and psychology and runs his own veterinary practice. He is married to Liz and they have three children, Joshua, Benjamin and Gabrielle.



Peter Leigh

Peter is currently the Executive Minister and is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the church, managing the Senior Leadership Team and aligning the activities of our ministries with our vision. He has been a staff member since 1993 and a partner since 1982. He is married to Linda and they have three young adult children.

Andrew Hill (Senior Minister)

Andrew became the Senior Minister of CityLife Church in 2017. As the Senior Minister he is responsible for all aspects of the church vision, including leadership, preaching and teaching, and external relationships. Andrew is a leader of leaders with a proven track record in leading and developing both staff and volunteer teams and seeing those teams unite behind a common mission and vision to achieve desired outcomes. Andrew has a wealth of experience across a vast range of church ministries in large church environments. He not only believes in team ministry but also in seeing each team member being able to bring their best to the table through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.

Andrew has a Bachelor of Ministry, Graduate Diploma of Theology and a Master of Arts in Church Practise. Andrew is married to Leanne and together they have three young adult children Emily, Stephanie and Joshua.



Peter Leigh (Executive Minister)

Peter is our Executive Minister and is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the church, managing the Senior Leadership Team and aligning the activities of our ministries with our vision.



Daljit Gill (Associate Minister)

Daljit has been part of CityLife Church since 1988 and is an Associate Minister with responsibility of all pastoral ministries and Life Groups. He is well-known for his passionate communication style and motivational energy which inspires many toward their full potential. Daljit is married to Gurmit and together they have two adult children.



Gavin Osborne (Business Manager)

Gavin joined CityLife Church in 2015 while taking up the role of Business Manager. He, his wife, Alison, and their two children have been volunteers in church ministry in children's ministry, youth ministry and young adults over many years; in fact they met on an Scripture Union beach mission team over 20 years ago. Gavin is a qualified engineer and project manager with a variety of experiences in engineering and not-for-profit management.



Kim Hammond (Lead Pastor - CityLife Church Casey)

Kim is the Lead Pastor of our Casey congregation, is on the teaching team and oversees of all the multi-site lead pastors. He, along with his family, spent five years in America as the Director of Missional Imagination for a thirteen-site, mega-church in Chicago. He is an author and has spoken all over the world. He has been married to Maria for over 20 years and they have three sons.



Leanne Hill (Generational Ministries Pastor)

Leanne is the Generational Ministries Pastor, which includes oversight of our Kids, Youth and Young Adult ministries. She has a Bachelor of Ministry and a Master of Arts in Church Practice and has been involved in pastoral ministry to young adults and young families for many years. Leanne is passionate about seeing the next generation own their faith and continue to pursue Jesus as they lead in the church and the marketplace. She is married to Andrew and they have three young adult children.



Karen Naylor (Associate Minister)

Karen has been a partner of CityLife Church since 2005. She has a Commerce degree with a Masters in Human Resource Management and has worked in Accounting, Business Management, Education and Human Resource leadership roles both within the church and the broader not-for-profit sector for over 20 years.Karen is married to Andrew and they have two young adult children. Karen oversees our Community Ministries, Leadership Development and our Discipleship Pathway.
