Internship

At CityLife we believe that people develop most when they have the opportunity to both learn and do. The internship component of the CityLife Diploma+ program facilitates students to be practically involved in a ministry area where their unique gifts and talents can be expressed. Each student will complete a minimum of five hours per week practical placement and will reflect actively on what they learn through these experiences. Students will work with a ministry supervisor who will help guide the learning process. Ministry choice areas include: administration, building services, church services & events, community care, creative arts, education and training, evangelism & mission, information technology, kids, media, pastoral, seniors, world impact, and youth & young adults.

Coaching

Helping people realise their full potential is at the heart of the coaching component. Each week students will gather in a small cohort to explore targeted areas of personal and ministry growth. CityLife staff and key leaders will facilitate the coaching. This format allows students to spend concentrated times with key leaders who have the knowledge and skills to coach others. These coaching groups will take place over a meal each Tuesday night before the formal learning block.

Spiritual Retreats

As part of the overall program, students will attend two retreats per year. Retreats allow students to spend time away from regular life commitments to connect with God in new and creative ways. Our retreats are filled with great food, fun activities and uninterrupted times to hear from God. They are a highlight of the year and a significant time in the life of students.

CityLife Ministry Modules

The final component of the Diploma+ is completing two CityLife subjects. These subjects will cover areas not found in other parts of the program and are unique to CityLife. The content is shaped around the specific direction and unique culture that is CityLife. Each subject will run on weekends and will include: prophecy, the Holy Spirit, evangelism and missional outreach, spiritual disciplines, worship, reaching nations, kingdom finances and business, leadership and more.

Cost

$3,620 per year, $7,240 for the two years. All fees to be paid in advance of the academic school year. There is no vet fee help available for this course in 2018.
