Accounts Assistant - Payroll (4 days)

We are currently seeking an Accounts Assistant - Payroll (4 days) to join our accounts team. You will be working on the day-to-day aspects of our accounting operations. Your proactive approach will see you involved in a range of duties.

The main tasks of this position include but are not limited to:

  • End to end payroll
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable 
  • Process Superannuation contributions
  • Assist with preparation of BAS, EOFY, WorkCover returns, Gender Equality Reporting
  • Processing credit card statements
  • Monitor compliance with guidelines and policies regarding ministry/fringe benefits
  • Ad hoc duties supporting the accounts team

To be successful, you will have experience in a similar role. Whilst you must have a passion for numerical accuracy and compliance, we also need you to be skilled in looking beyond the numbers for operational efficiencies across our Knox staff as well as our multi-sites.

You will have

  • At least 3 years’ payroll experience 
  • Time management capabilities with high attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent organisation and communication, including stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to think independently with strong critical decision-making abilities
  • Confidence in Microsoft Office 
  • The ability to work to deadlines 


It will be desirable to have

  • Experience in Tencia, however, training will be provided
  • A current drivers license

Creative Music Leader (part-time)

This is a part-time position and ensures the strength of music teams for worship and events, oversees scheduling, fosters a culture of competency and character, ensures teams are equipped and resourced and pastorally care for individuals as needed.

Role responsibilities include;

  • Weekend service music leadership
  • Strengthening of the music teams
  • Administration, rostering and bookings system 
  • Oversee equipment/instruments
  • Creative input & original song writing

Creative Media Leader (part-time)

This is a part-time position and has overall responsibility and oversight of the media teams, services and systems at Knox and other sites. It includes direction, budgeting, resources and equipment (media, lighting, cameras, computer graphics) and continually looks to improve the culture of service, teamwork, professional growth and safety.

This role involves;

  • Providing Weekend Service media leadership
  • Overseeing the rostering and bookings system 
  • Overseeing OH&S setup/pack downs
  • Ensure media equipment & maintenance

Creative Audio Leader (full-time)

This is a full-time position at our Knox site. It ensures the strength of our Audio teams, services and systems for our Weekend Services and Events. It fosters a culture of competency and character, equipping and resourcing teams, and caring for individuals as needed.

This role involves;

  • Building audio teams
  • Providing audio leadership during our Weekend Services
  • Managing the rostering and bookings administration
  • Overseeing setup/pack downs
  • Overseeing the audio equipment - supply, storage, maintenance & delivery
  • Ensuring appropriate resourcing and equipment are available for key events in concert with the Creative Production Leader, incl weekly chapel services
