CityLife Church is a multi-site Pentecostal church based in Melbourne, Australia. Our mission is to raise up fervent followers of Jesus Christ who will reach out and impact communities, cities and nations for the Kingdom of God. We have multi-site congregations in the Melbourne municipalities of Knox (English, Mandarin, and Cantonese), Manningham, Casey and Whittlesea.
Our facilities have been designed for a wide range of flexible uses and include: auditoriums (audio/media/lighting), meeting rooms, counselling rooms, café, offices, lifts, kids’ play areas, carparks and gardens. The Facilities Manager leads a small, dedicated team (plus contractors and volunteers) and oversees facilities, and OHS, across all sites. The role reports to the Business Manager (Senior Leadership Team).
This is a key role. Our church community enjoys professionally-run facilities and our staff thrive on using their creativity to make church services, meeting rooms and outdoor areas where transformation a fun place to gather. Lives are shared, transformed, healed and enriched in our buildings.
You will be a professional and well-known for communicating effectively to different stakeholders – youth, seniors, managers, tradies, contractors and volunteers. You will be passionate about applying your skills in a collaborative Christian Ministry environment. You will take pride in the team’s contribution to our renowned weekend services and major events. You enjoy fun, but not at the expense of safety, and you care for your team, including their spiritual and professional growth.
It is an exciting time for this role. We are about to commission the opening of an $11m extension to our Knox site.

Software Developer Volunteer – ASP.NET/C#
IT Department would love to hear from experienced people who may be interested
in giving some professional time to the Church to assist us in our new church management system project. If you could volunteer at least five
hours per week that would be a great help. While it is envisioned that
the project will continue for 12-24 months, we would love to hear from you if
you can commit to some of this.

Young Adults Pastor (Knox) – Maternity Leave Position (3 days/wk)
Our young adults love to connect and journey together, to be
transformed into the image of Jesus. A maternity leave position has
become available for a Young Adults Pastor from November 20, 2017 – July 6,
2018, leading all aspects of the Young Adults Ministry (18 – 30 year olds). It
facilitates a dynamic and vibrant program that provides an environment in which
young adults are challenged and nurtured to grow in their Christian walk. Responsibilities
include leadership and management such as planning, organising and overseeing
meetings, administration, pastoral ministry and hosting. This role also
requires active participation in all church events.
The ideal person will share our values and have current
experience. If you have a passion for young adults and connecting them
with the church and each other, making disciples and drawing out people’s
talents to serve, then we’d love to hear from you!
