Young Adults Pastor - Knox

The Young Adults Pastor (Knox) is a Head of Ministry position that leads all aspects of the Young Adults Ministry (18 – 30 year olds). It is based at Knox and also “champions” Young Adults for our other sites.  It facilitates a dynamic and vibrant program that provides irresistible events where our young adults are challenged and nurtured to grow in their Christian walk. Responsibilities include leadership and management, planning, organising and overseeing events, pastoral ministry and hosting. This role has a presence at weekend services.

The ideal person will share our values and have current experience. Ideally you will have or be working towards a tertiary theology qualification.  If you have a passion for young adults and connecting them with the church and each other, making disciples and drawing out people’s talents to serve, then we’d love to hear from you!

Network Pastor Knox (Full-Time incl one weekend day)

This critical role, based at our Knox central site, is the driving force behind a large “network” of volunteer leaders of small groups (Life Groups). You will provide leadership, motivation, pastoral care and outreach to leaders in your network.  Our Network Pastors look after their own networks whilst imparting church vision and collaborating with each other.

This role also has a focus on weekend services. The successful applicant will use their gifts, whether it be hosting weekend services/events or teaching/preaching in services or programs (eg LifeTrax).

CityLife is in an exciting stage of our journey as a church. We have major new buildings and infrastructure and recently launched our new “No Limits” Vision.  We are rolling-out new CityLife leadership and spiritual growth programs to staff and the Church membership; Network Pastors will be key drivers of this.  What better time to use your leadership, pastoral and teaching/coaching gifts?

A position description and standard application form are on the “Employment” page of the CityLife website.  If this position sounds like you, simply complete the Application Form and upload your CV and cover letter to Saskia Koops at
