Creative Weekends Events Assistant
CityLife Church at Knox has an exciting opportunity for a Creative Weekend Events Assistant to serve within our Creative Ministry. The Creative Weekend Events Assistant ensures the effective communication and co-ordination with ministries and leaders involved with Weekend Services, and Events and carry out administrative duties for Creative Ministries.
The Role
The Creative Weekend and Events Assistant (CWEA) provides key assistance to the Creative Ministries Pastor in the areas of development of vision, creative input, collaboration, administration, and delivery of CityLife Weekends and Events. The CWEA ensures effective communication and coordination with Ministries and Leaders involved with Weekend Services and Events.

1.0 FTE

CityLife runs a number of Events through the year, these include, but are not limited to, Team Launch, Easter, Mother’s Day, Inspire, Father’s Day, Team Appreciation, Leader’s Summit and Christmas.  The CWEA would assist with the development of broad concepts and direction for Events by providing key assistance to the Creative Ministries Pastor.

You will have a demonstrated capacity to provide support to events run to tight deadlines and be a confident and clear communicator. You have knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and Planning Centre.

Knox Associate Pastor
CityLife Church Knox has an exciting opportunity for an experienced church leader to join the CityLife team as our Knox Associate Pastor. CityLife Church is committed to raise up fervent followers of Jesus Christ who will reach out and impact communities, cities, and nations for the Kingdom of God. We are a multi-site church that is often described as one church in many locations.
The Role
The Knox Associate Pastor works closely with the Knox Lead Pastor (KLP) to lead our Knox Campus.  An active member of our Multisite Leadership Team (MsLT), the Knox Associate Pastor leads a team of 9 staff and provides leadership to our Network Pastors and pastoral support team.  The Knox Associate Pastor provides leadership and oversight to our Small Groups Ministry (Life Group) and Life Tracks (teaching/growth) and acts as a Subject Matter Expert in these areas for all CityLife sites.  The Knox Associate Pastor also works closely with the KLP to provide leadership and oversight to our Knox weekend meetings.

About you
Having previously led or co-lead a church or congregation, you easily connect with and build rapport with people. You have demonstrated confidence in your spiritual gifts and ministry and have a heart for connecting people to the church through Small Groups and care networks.  You have a focus for pastoral care and have experience in developing, mentoring and coaching pastoral teams.  You also have the ability to coach your team on the recruitment, selection and development of leaders and volunteers.  You also have excellent verbal and communication skills and an eye for detail.

You have a minimum Bachelor of Theology or equivalent and have 5+ years’ experience leading a church or congregation, including leadership, pastoral care, motivation and development of pastors.  Previous experience in a senior minister role and/or a multi-site church context will be highly regarded.  
A Police Check and current Working with Children’s Check will be mandatory for this position on appointment.

CLCC Reception and Administration Assistant - Knox
We are currently seeking a Reception and Administration Assistant for our Knox-based CityLife Community Care Reception team. You will be part of a friendly, vibrant team who welcome visitors, have a ready smile and flexibility surrounding rosters.
This role interacts with staff and volunteers across many ministries and complements our permanent Reception Team by providing Reception cover for the permanent team.

To be successful in this role you will be familiar with church culture and have excellent people skills. You will have attention to detail and be good at adapting to extremely busy or quiet periods.

This is an onsite role at CityLife Community Care in Knox at 1248 High Street Road Wantirna South, 3152

What You'll be doing
  • Handle incoming calls, answering enquiries, taking messages and directing calls.
  • General office administration, incoming and outgoing mail arrangements.

Human Resources Consultant
We are currently seeking a part-time Human Resources Consultant. CityLife Church has a part-time opportunity for an experienced Human Resource Consultant to provide assistance to the Head of People and Culture to ensure that CityLife Church Inc (including CityLife Community Care Inc.) is compliant with the relevant legislation and applicable industrial instruments. This is an onsite role based in our Knox head office.
About the Role
The HR Consultant provides assistance to the Head of People & Culture to ensure that CityLife Church Inc (including CityLife Community Care Inc.) is compliant with the relevant legislation and applicable industrial instruments.  The HR Consultant will focus on recruitment and selection, staff onboarding and offboarding practices, management of staff contracts in line with applicable Awards including pay governance.  The HR Consultant answer general queries from staff regarding HR policies, procedures and applicable legislation.  The HR Consultant also helps the Head of People & Culture with ad hoc projects and work as required.  
 
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes:
  • 4-5 years’ experience working in a HR Generalist or similar role with the ability to interpret and provide advice on relevant HR legislation, applicable Awards and policies and procedures.
  • A tertiary qualification in HR or a related area will be highly regarded.
  • Previous experience and understand of working with Awards.  Specific experience with Clerks - Private Sector Award 2010, Social Community Home Care & Disability Services Industry Award 2020 & Miscellaneous Award 2020 will be highly regarded.
  • Current knowledge of Australian employment legislation and the industrial relations framework is needed for this role. 
  • Highly competent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interpret complex documents (i.e. Awards, policy documents) 
  • Excellent interpersonal, coaching, listening, negotiation and consultative skills at all levels.
  • Good time management and the ability to multi-task with exceptional follow-through to ensure decisions are enacted in a timely manner.
  • Recent Police Check and Employee Working with Children Check – mandatory on appointment

CityLife Kids Pastor - Knox (Casual Support)
We are currently seeking a Kids Pastor to assist our thriving kids ministry with delivering our CityLife Kids Program. This position requires a strong multi-tasker to assist in the equipping of our ministry in a variety of areas. From recruitment and resource preparation to pastoral follow up and care for our families.
