CityLife Church is a multi-site Pentecostal church based in Melbourne, Australia. Our mission is to raise up fervent followers of Jesus Christ who will reach out and impact communities, cities and nations for the kingdom of God. We have multi-site congregations in the municipalities of Knox, Manningham, Casey, Whittlesea and Melbourne City. The Youth Pastor will lead all aspects of the Youth ministry of CityLife Church Knox and provide vision, direction and deliver best practices at the Knox site. They will facilitate a dynamic and vibrant program that provides an environment in which our youth are challenged, nurtured and discipled to grow in their relationship with Christ and are cared for, and empowered, to function in their areas of gifting and passion. The Youth Pastor will actively connect Youth across various Church Ministries, Weekends and CityLife Church. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Responsible to outwork the vision and strategy for the Youth Ministry at Knox. This includes all Youth meetings, programs and outreach opportunities as well as providing strategic input and coaching for CityLife congregations in the area of Youth ministry.
- Responsible to plan, organise, communicate, administrate and oversee all Youth meetings, programs, activities, and special events at Knox.
- Responsible to manage budgets associated with the Knox Youth ministry.
- Responsible to facilitate a LifeGroup care structure and to foster pastoral care and discipleship amongst peers.
- Responsible to provide leadership, training and appreciation for youth department leaders and volunteers.
- Responsible to teach at the various youth meetings.
- Actively develop teaching team model for EPIC Youth Knox
- Available to speak at Knox Weekend services as required.
- Responsible to oversee or teach at Life Tracks.
The successful candidate will have:- Degree/Diploma in Youth Ministry/Theology or related discipline
- Experience working within a church, youth ministry or multi-site congregation.
- Demonstrates sound understanding of biblical knowledge and Christian doctrine.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, select and develop leaders.
- Track record of successful small group, coaching and pastoral care skills i.e. giving and receiving feedback, delegation and accountability.
- Demonstrated confidence in spiritual gifts and ministry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication – including public speaking, and report writing.
- Team building skills.
- Effective decision-making and problem solving.

Administration Assistant to the CLCC Director
CityLife Community Care (CLCC) is the community caring expression of CityLife Church Knox. It exists to connect our church with our local community, to support and empower people in need to thrive.
We have an exciting opportunity for an organised person with initiative and strong administrative skills to join us as the Administration Assistant to the CLCC Director.
This role provides the CLCC Director with administrative assistance and support. The role also assists the Director and Team Leaders in coordinating regular and ad hoc events and supports as directed by the CLCC Director. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Scheduling of internal and external appointments as directed.
- Administrative assistance to the Director regarding policies, procedures, and protocols, creating and updating documents as required.
- Assist the Director in reviewing, researching and collating information related to projects and initiatives as directed.
- Prepare presentations, information packs, and promotional material for Director.
- Coordinate CLCC’s organisational events and provide assistance with service/program specific events where required.
- Utilising information provided, to assist with creating reports, PowerPoint presentations and compiling information (AGM, Board of Management, and others as required).
- Managing/updating CLCC social media and CLCC newsletter.
The successful candidate will have:- Degree/Diploma in business or related field is preferred.
- Understanding of the church or faith-based context in community care ministry.
- Experience supporting senior leadership and working in similar roles in community services, preferred.
- High degree of professionalism and judgement with the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated skill using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher) and Videoconferencing, Facebook and other social media.

World Impact Ministry Mobilisation Coordinator
We have an exciting opportunity for an organised self-starter with strong communication skills and a passion for leading and growing Christian mission opportunities.
The World Impact Ministry Mobilisation Coordinator, working with the World Impact Team, will focus on developing a local expression of the World Impact Ministry, including managing World Impact events and coordinating mission trips.

CityLife is committed to raise up fervent followers of Jesus Christ who will reach out and impact communities, cities and nations for the Kingdom of God. Our World Impact Ministry is passionate about impacting cities and nations one community at a time, seeing communities restored and seeing His church built throughout the nations. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Manage and organise aspects of World Impact Weekends and World Impact Events
- Coordinate Missions Trips and Missions Trip Orientation
- Promote teams and facilitate involvement by individuals, Life Groups & Departments
- Facilitate formation of Missions Trips
- Identify, develop and coach Missions Trip Leaders and Trainers for Orientation
- Give oversight to WI Prayer initiatives across all sites
- Provide oversight, direction and inter-departmental coordination for World Impact publications, communications, and promotions.
- Coordinate WI Advanced LifeTracks sessions in consultation with the Missions Director
The successful candidate will have:- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Effective spoken and written English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build relationships with diverse groups of people, including church leadership, volunteers, and mission team members.
- Knowledge of cross-cultural dynamics, experience working with international teams or cross-cultural environments.
- Ability to coordinate promotional materials, such as flyers, video profiles, and online contents, for missions trips and event.
- Experience in organizing and managing events, from event preparation to executions, ensuring smooth operations.
- Attention to detail in all aspects of the job, from organizing mission events to handling logistics aspects of mission trips.
- Experience in coordinating international and local mission trips, including arranging travel logistics (visas, air tickets, insurance, itineraries).
- A self-starter with the flexibility and resilience required to work with different projects and people.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Able to adjust to changing priorities and direction.

Young Adults Network Pastor
We have an exciting opportunity for a Young Adults Network Pastor at our Knox site.
The Young Adults Network Pastor will contribute to the key ministry components of the vision of CityLife by providing leadership and overseeing a network of Life Groups for Young Adults in the Knox Region.
CityLife Church is committed to “raise up fervent followers of Jesus Christ who will reach out and impact communities, cities and nations for the Kingdom of God.” To facilitate this vision, we have four key components of CityLife Church, including weekend meetings, Life Groups, LifeTracks and Coaching. Life Groups are the primary focus which exist for the purpose of pastoral care, discipleship, ministry development and outreach. The Young Adults Network Pastor Knox is responsible to contribute to these ministry components by providing leadership and overseeing a network of Life Groups for young adults at the Knox congregation. This is an FTE 0.8 – 1.0 position that will include weekend work. Key responsibilities for this role will include but are not limited to:- Working with the Young Adults Pastor to implement the vision and strategy for the Young Adults Ministry (Knox), with a specific focus on ages 18-25 within the YA network.
- Oversee a network of Life Groups within the Young Adults network.
- To organise and deliver pastoral care to Life Group Leaders and Coaches, as well as young adults within the network phone calls, prayer, life group visitations, pastoral catch ups, hospital visitation, and making referrals to other specialists for appropriate support beyond pastoral guidance. This may occur during evenings.
- Assist the Young Adults Pastor to ensure that the Leadership requirements and other CityLife processes for volunteers are fulfilled.
- To resource Coaches and Life Group leaders so that they are equipped to promote the health, growth, and multiplication of their Life Group.
- To encourage and facilitate spiritual growth opportunities for each Coach, Life Group leader and co-leader by ensuring that there is effective discipleship and accountability.
- Be part of the teaching team or hosting at various Young Adult meetings as required, and as required on weekend services.
- Develop and maintain safe and creative environments and processes for all Young Adult activities.
The successful candidate will have:- Theological or Pastoral studies (or working towards)
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, select and develop leaders/volunteers.
- Demonstrated confidence in spiritual gifts and ministry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication – including public speaking.
- Ability to motivate leaders and grow volunteer leadership teams.
- Demonstrated leadership experience.
- Competence in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and social media.
