Lead Pastor - Chinese Church (full-time)
CityLife Chinese Church has approximately 300 weekly attendees in its various congregations and 25 Life Groups. It was established in 2005. Its home location is at the Performing Arts Centre of Waverley Christian College, Wantirna South (adjacent to CityLife Knox site). It has established infrastructure, programs, and newsletters and a loyal, devoted group of staff.
We are looking for a passionate person to fill this integral senior leadership role. With a Sunday service and mid-week ministries that serve the wider Chinese – Mandarin and Cantonese speaking community, you will work closely with the Senior Minister, Associate Minister, Chinese Pastors (Knox Cantonese and Manningham Mandarin) and Network Pastors and volunteers.
You will be influential in creating a thriving church culture where members can simultaneously grow in their spiritual development and feel strongly connected. You will have oversight over our three main areas: growth, fellowship, and ministry. These include courses, gatherings, and volunteer opportunities. You will organise and personally deliver teaching, training, pastoral care and encouragement.
You will be fluent in English and Mandarin and have full Australian working rights.

Human Resources Manager (3 days)
CityLife Church has a fantastic part-time opportunity for an experienced and high capacity Human Resource Manager to provide HR solutions across all departments and locations of CityLife Church. This role is based in our head office, located onsite at the Knox site.
About the Role
The Human Resource Manager, supported by the Human Resources Officer, will provide leadership in all areas relating to our people and our culture including (but not limited to):
- Recruitment, selection, on-boarding, and off-boarding for new appointments and internal
- Staff wellbeing, employee assistance, and performance management
- HR-related compliance, policy, and process, reporting and risk management
- Training and development
- Organisational culture
The role is a leadership position within our central services team and will involve regular interface with department and senior leadership roles across the church.
As the successful candidate, you will be a highly experienced HR professional with the ability to demonstrate competence across the breadth of the HR functions, including those described above. You will be an excellent verbal and written communicator; an effective influencer across all levels of a complex organisation. You will be adept at balancing competing priorities, with the strategic nous to plan and deliver timely solutions with high quality. Crucially, you will be wholeheartedly committed to the mission, vision, and values of CityLife Church.
