Connections Ministries Pastor – Knox (full time)

We are seeking to employ a full-time Connections Ministries Pastor for our Knox site.

The role has been created to facilitate, integrate and connect new people into CityLife Knox, enabling people to move from visiting/attending to a place of belonging.

You will have opportunity to:
• Lead and have responsibility for the Connect Team
• Develop and manage systems and processes to track connections of new Christians
• Demonstrate team leadership, including coaching and working with volunteers
• Provide appropriate care for people as they progress through disciple pathways
• Draw on your excellent communication skills to build effective relationships with new
        church members
• Participate in weekend services, including hosting and taking part in major Knox events

• Demonstrate team leadership, including coaching and working with volunteers

• Provide appropriate care for people as they progress through disciple pathways

• Draw on your excellent communication skills to build effective relationships with new church members

• Participate in weekend services, including hosting and taking part in major Casey events

Network Pastor Casey - (full-time)

CityLife Church is committed “to raise up fervent followers of Jesus Christ who will reach out and impact communities, cities and nations for the Kingdom of God”. CityLife Church prides itself in the structure of its Life Groups, which exist for the purpose of pastoral care, discipleship, ministry development and evangelism.

This role serves the Casey congregation and connects with the wider community.   You will work closely with the Lead Pastor, coaches and Life Group Leaders in creating a healthy environment where church members can simultaneously grow in spiritual development and have a sense of belonging. You will work with the Connect Pastor to assimilate new attenders and members with Life Groups and volunteer ministries. You will provide training, pastoral care and encouragement to Casey’s volunteer leaders. You will contribute to Sunday services whether by hosting, occasional preaching (if this is your gift) and work with Venue Managers and Ministry Leaders.

CityLife Community Care - Community Connect & Support Team Leader (4 days)

CityLife Community Care (CLCC) is the community impact expression of CityLife Church Knox. It exists to connect our church with our local community, to support and empower people in need to thrive.

We are seeking to employ a part-time Team Leader for our Community Connection which focuses on engaging and building community capacity and social connections through a range of community groups, projects / programs and events that enhance the wellbeing of people in need. Community Support provides people in need with a range of practical help through many practical support programs.

This role involves working with community stakeholders to identify priorities and needs, as well as oversee the development, delivery and evaluation of Community Connect and Support Services.

You will have opportunity to:

  • Utilise your experience in community engagement and development.
  • Draw on your excellent communication skills to build effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and individuals.
  • Work collaboratively to achieve organisational outcomes.
  • Demonstrate a non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards the community.
  • Demonstrate Team Leadership, including training, supervising and budget oversight.
  • Utilise your experience in project management and administration.
