I just wanted to give a praise report on God's faithfulness in answering prayer. I was standing at the front of the stage as part of the Prayer Ministry Team on a Sunday morning. A young woman came forward and asked for prayer on two matters. The first being for a friend and her husband in the United States who had been trying to have children for about three years with no success. They were about to go on IVF for the first time. The second was for her husband who had not been to church for quite a while and she felt he had turned away from his faith. I said that my wife and I had tried for three years to have children with also no success and went onto IVF and fell pregnant. So I said to her I had been through this and had the faith to pray with her and also her husband and so we did. (A couple of months later) as I was again standing out the front for the ministry team, (the lady I had prayed for) walked up to me and ... said that she wanted to tell me she had received word from her friend in America that morning that she was pregnant from her very first IVF implant and was now at about 9 or 10 weeks. She also said that her husband had started coming back to church and was doing the Alpha course. Hallelujah and all glory to God for his faithfulness and healing power and that he allows us to play a small part in these life-changing stories. Such a privilege and so faith building. Amen.
