We scheduled a 25-day trip to Brisbane last year. My 18-month-old baby contracted the flu and was ill for the first two weeks of the vacation. She made a full recovery over the next two days, but on the third day, she began to have fevers once more. For the next five days, she experienced a consistent pattern of fever every six hours, every day. At that point, we all became concerned. We brought her to the hospital and she underwent a number of tests, but they couldn’t determine the issue. The doctors got concerned and started discussions about performing invasive tests to rule out serious conditions. I cried as I prayed to God, asking for his assistance. In response, God prompted me to ask the doctors to repeat the tests. They took our requests into consideration. The following day the result showed a viral infection. For everyone, including the doctors, it was a huge relief that the little one could now receive the right care. I prayed for my child's healing and to end the fever pattern, and I anticipated a gradual recovery. There was a miracle from our Great God. She suddenly had no fever that night and never did again. I praised God many times. She was fully healed by our Almighty God. I also want to share that I used to suffer from back pain every single day. There were even days when I found it hard to move forward at all. But during those weeks, I was pain-free every single day and was able to move around, carry, and hold my child. I recalled this Bible verse - Ephesians 3:20 says, “ Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us". I shared these with my older kids who also acknowledged the love of our Mighty Creator. Looking back, we can see God’s hand leading us at all times and I have faith that He will continue to do so as we grow in Him.
