In one of our Life Group meetings, a couple shared about the importance of volunteering in church and role modelling it to their children. He said that as their children grew older, they themselves volunteered at church, realizing the profound impact they could make in their own unique ways. It had instilled in them a sense of responsibility towards their community and being a positive influence to people around them.

One of their children is now in Social Work and they think their involvement in church was a catalyst in choosing this profession. After the meeting, another Life Group member approached us saying she is very keen to also serve (in Kids church) as both her children are enjoying their time at Kids church and it would be a good opportunity to apply what she just heard. Since May 2024, she has been volunteering and enjoying her time serving the Lord, the church, and the opportunity to role model service to her children. Praise God for Life Group members inspiring each other for the work of the kingdom and serving our community.
