One of our Field Partners located in outback Australia shared this "I have been serving as an electrician in a remote town in New South Wales. As it is extremely difficult to get trades out to the remote parts, they can often been far too expensive and therefore the problems never get fixed. This is why I felt to serve. However, after serving full time on the field for over 4 years I have now been asked to lead one of the church communities so that the pastors can have a break. I saw this as an opportunity for the indigenous leaders to lead so I have taken on the facilitation of pulling together of each gathering. It has been so encouraging seeing various people step up and into leaership roles within their own people. The openess and response has been significantly more positive and the ramifications on the local community has also been really wonderful to see. I can see how God is working to restore the Indigenous Australians by using other Indigenous Australians and I am so excited that I get to be part of it! Praise God"
