August 2023 my family in the UK informed me that my eldest brother was not expected to live very long and it would be good if I got over to see him alive. My first thought was his salvation. I must get to him quickly as he has not made a commitment. I asked my Life Group ladies to pray fervently. I arrived in the UK on 22 August and my brother took me straight to the hospital. We arrived at his bedside, he was curled up in bed, tubes connected and was very weak and frail. He could hardly speak but I managed to hear him whisper and said ‘family told me you were coming, I have waited all night long’, then he closed his eyes.

I told him I have come with a message for him -  I told him how much God loved him and is waiting for him to open the door to let him in. There was no response, he fell asleep. We stayed around his bed praying and left him in God’s hands. We went back to the hospital the next day, still the same, not much life in him. He whispered to me that he wants to go to be with his wife who passed away many years ago as a Christian. I explained salvation again to him. On our next visit, to our surprise he was more responsive! l hugged him but because he had not eaten food for a long time he was just flesh and bone. I asked him if I could pray for him, he nodded yes. At the end of the prayer he said in a whisper, ‘thank you’.

Each time we visited we saw a slight change in him. I kept my Life Group informed, they kept on praying along with the church I went to in the UK. Each time I visited him, his voice got stronger. He told me that at night he was seeing horrible faces which tormented most of the night so we prayed against tormenting spirits that were fighting for his life. This is a long story but I know that through the power of persistent prayer, my brother was able to, with a lot of aid, stand up on his feet, then was moved to another hospital where he was able to get some rehab. He had a fall but I praise God it was not too serious. We had commanded the angels to watch over him. After a while he was able to take a few steps and use a walker. By this time it had been almost 3months in hospital and time for me to come back to Australia.

To my great delight he walked me to the top of the corridor and waved goodbye and thanked me for coming. When I arrived home it was arranged that he would be looked after in a nursing home. We all kept on praying for him to get stronger each day which he has, to the stage where he, over the last week has been able to go back to live in his own house! From a dying brother to where he is now is nothing but a miracle of a healing God who can do exceedingly abundantly above all we could think or imagine! The next miracle will be salvation. God never fails to answer, it’s not his will that any should perish. To God be the glory, at the time of writing I had a message from him he had walked to the park to enjoy priceless fresh air. Our God is a miracle working God!
