2 months ago, my sister-in-law suffered an aneurysm. She was unconscious for about 1 hour until my brother came home from work and found her lying on the floor. Called paramedics immediately and upon arrival did all the emergency procedures and rushed her to hospital for immediate surgery. She was in ICU and remained in a coma. Doctors report was not hopeful as she was unconscious for too long and too much blood flowing into the brain… all facts pointed to the worst case scenario, that she may never wake up and remain in a coma, and if she does wake up, she will not regain her memory and may end up paralysed.
That Sunday - the worship leader release a word of knowledge- “keep praying for the names you have been praying for the week. God hears those names”…the worship leader said.
I texted online church immediately and requested for prayers...
Facts, fear or faith? The facts from the doctors were real facts… but faith prevails! Doctors treat but God heals!
My sister-in-law has been discharged from ICU into normal ward- she woke up after 3 weeks in coma. No memory loss, able to hear and using her eyes to communicate, able to move her arms and fingers and now regaining strength to walk.
All praise and glory of our God who reigns!
