Last year I took a friend to an appointment at the hospital. Whilst waiting I heard a familiar voice and looked up to see a work colleague who I had not seen for a decade. We embraced and when I asked her why she was here she told me of her health concerns. She is not a Christian but right there and then she allowed me to pray for her. I followed up with her a few months later as we had exchanged numbers and she told me that the tests had come back that she had bowel cancer. We prayed together again and after an op and four rounds of chemo she is now cancer free. Thank you Lord that You put me in the right place at the right time and allowed me to hear that familiar voice in that very crowded waiting room which allowed me to pray for my friend.
