Stanislav’s church in Czech Republic is thriving in ways that they couldn’t imagine before COVID-19. The church members are meeting more often than before over Zoom to pray together, some early in the morning and some at night. One lady started making facemasks and giving them away free to her neighbours, another church planter is a nurse and she has been using her skills in a nursing home while at the same time sharing the gospel.
A lady named Stania started reading stories from the Bible and recording them to send to her grandchildren in Germany. Someone in the church heard about it and asked if she could also send them the video and she did. Then another heard about it and it just spread. Now these videos of her reading Bible stories have been uploaded to YouTube for even more children to listen to. Stania is almost 70 years old and prior to this did not have much IT skills but now she’s recording and uploading videos to the internet.
Stanislav’s church has been broadcasting their services online for a number of years now so when COVID-19 hit, other churches in Czech started calling him and asking him how they can also start online services. So now Stanislav has also become an IT consultant to the wider body of Christ in Czech Republic. Praise God that His influence is unstoppable!
