I came strong in my faith when I followed my sister to a prayer group meeting over 15 years ago. I had gone to the prayer group meeting to support my sister, but when I invited Jesus into my heart and soul he transformed my life by helping me deal with a secret that I kept from my whole family. I was abused when I was a child by my uncle and even though I was not the only one he abused, I was the only one who did not tell anyone about it. After coming to know the Lord and the beautiful people of the Christian faith, it finally helped me open up and tell my family. This spiritual journey not only healed me but helped me to forgive and set me free from the battlefield that was occurring in my mind. Everyday my faith grows stronger and I feel my story and journey have helped me become the person who I am today.
