I met a mother who has just dropped off her children in Preschool Kids Church. As she was coming out of the room, I asked how she was doing. She looked sad. So, I gave her a hug and asked if I could pray for her. She then opened up and began to share with me her situation at that time. She was feeling isolated, depressed and exhausted. She has migrated over to Australia a few months back and because her children are still young, she has not been able to connect with many people outside her family. In the months that followed, our families met over meals in our homes, she was able to be connected into Kidz Bizz playgroup where she now has many families that she meets with weekly. She started attending our Life Group in the last few months. She was attending church but was not yet a believer. My husband and I invited her to attend Alpha & we have seen how God has opened her eyes to new revelations of who He wants to be in her life. She is now reading and exploring the Bible & is excited to experience even more of God in her life. There has been also amazing transformation within her home. As I look back at how God has paved the way for this precious friend to come to know Him as her personal Lord & Saviour, I am simply amazed at how detailed and personal our God is! I am so glad that on that particular day, I was open to His prompting, stopped and made time for her. Lord make me an instrument of your peace.
