I have a friend who comes from Taiwan. We met at Chinese school and recently she had to stop working because of her studies. I caught up with her over dinner and I could see immediately that she was not herself, and that she was really troubled. She finally shared with me that she had a desperate financial situation regarding her school fees and if I had not met with her, she would have killed herself.
What should I do? I opened my mouth and heard myself saying, "I can lend you the money for your school fees." She broke down in tears and hugged me so very very tight.
I thank God that I met her that night and helped save her. I will use the money from my job that God has provided me with, in the way He wants me to. All praise to God! We met up again and sorted out the fees. She is so happy and I feel happy for her.
I pray that one day she will see that Jesus is already there, waiting for her to come into His arms.
