My little granddaughter was having trouble sleeping because she had nearly drowned from being sucked under a pipe whilst caught in a whirlpool recently. When she closed her eyes to sleep, it was dark and it reminded her of the darkness of the muddy, murky water when she was trapped under the pipe, in a dark place. It reminded me of the scripture in 1 John 1:5 "God is light; in Him there is no darkness at all." When my little granddaughter was stuck in that dark place, the God of light came and rescued her. She may not have been able to see in that situation but His eyes see all, at all times of the day and He saw that little child and rescued her. God be praised!
