On the day of baptism, I was feeling both excited and nervous at the same time. I was excited that I was finally getting baptised but also feeling nervous because I’ve never done it before. As I was walking into the pool I was praying that God will be with me and help me. When I came out of the water, I could feel God’s presence around me. I felt like all my sins were washed away and God blessed me with a new life. I felt so touched when my family and life group members prayed and shared words of encouragement for me. It was extra special because my grandpa could join me for the baptism.

After my baptism, I saw a picture of Noah’s ark - God has given me a fresh start with the promise of a rainbow. I am safe and renewed in His ark like all God’s people are.
