My kids await for Saturday church time. They love kids church and I am so grateful for all that you do to nurture our kids . Most Saturdays we are out and usually around 2pm, my kids will start asking if it’s almost time for church. I am so glad that they have made it a part of their lives. My daughter who is 8 now wouldn’t go for any birthday parties she gets invited to if its during church time. When she was five years old, she was invited to a party which happened to be during church time and I explained to her that God is more important than a party and let her decide what she wanted to do.

Gave her time to think and after a few hours she said to me that she would skip the party and would go to church instead. Since that day she hasn’t gone to a party that would be at the same time as church. I am so thankful to God that she has prioritized God in her life. Last month my son who is 5 was invited to a first ever school mates birthday party on a Saturday at 4.30. I did the same thing that I did with my daughter.

I explained to him about the importance of coming to church and gave him the option between the party and church. He immediately said he wanted to go to the party as it’s the first one ever. I told him that he needs to go to the Sunday service instead of Saturday. He agreed. He went to the party and we both went to church on Sunday as my daughter and my husband went to church on Saturday. That Sunday after coming home I asked him which he would choose if he gets invited to another party on Saturday. He said going to church, as worshipping God is more important than a party. I was so thrilled that he has understood that God is above all. I am so thankful to God for my wonderful kids.
