During the prayer time at the Alpha ‘day away’ I spoke to the group leader about hearing God's voice. This was the second Alpha course I have attended. I had previously had prayer for the baptism of the Holy Spirit, but whenever I prayed in private, I had this voice in my head telling me that I was making it up. Our group leader then joined us. Both the group leaders prayed for me for (for baptism of) the Holy Spirit. Within minutes I heard one say, "you are speaking in tongues". I was overjoyed! I had the testimony of two leaders to confirm that it was really the Holy Spirit. Praise be to Jesus!
