For many years my husband's family has been dysfunctional. There is little contact between parent and siblings. My sister-in-law moved down from Queensland about 5 years ago and we have never been to her house. My husband did not get on with her husband because of past events. I have been praying for reconciliation for our family for many years and a couple of days ago my sister-in-law rang to ask us if we would like to come up and have lunch with her because her husband was going away to visit relatives.
I mentioned it to my husband and he said he would like to come but doesn't she want to make it at a time that her husband could come too! She was so happy that my husband was putting things of past behind and we organised a time together when her husband could come too. We had such a great time together.
They showed us around her house and then we went out for lunch and then walked along the beach. Praise God that He can remove hearts of stone and bring families together again. He is a God of relationships and a God of love.
