I'd like to share this amazing testimony of the demonstration of the power of the Holy Spirit.

Two weekends ago, my daughter took notes and listened attentively to Lynn Moresi's message about the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I believe that message laid a deeper understanding for my daughter about this topic (she already had some knowledge about the topic from one of the TASK force training session).

My daughter was feeling self-conscious about going up to be prayed for during the altar call, despite our encouragement that Sunday morning. However, that same evening when we gathered as a family for prayer and devotion, I shared my personal testimony of how I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit in my room, as I prayed alone, as a young girl.

My daughter then asked both my husband and myself to pray for her to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. While she closed her eyes, I told her to remember what Lynn Moresi had shared about not being anxious and to just relax. My husband started to pray and when I sensed the presence of the Holy Spirit, I told my daughter to open her mouth and start praising God. I then placed my hands on her shoulder and felt the anointing of the Holy Spirit and immediately she started speaking in tongues.

Praise God! Needless to say this experience was an encouragement to us as her parents too.
