I was retrenched a year ago. I was devastated and wondered where was God. I had good support from Christian friends during this difficult time, praying with me and encouraging me. People said that I would not be able to find any job during that time of the year. Our God is not a God of limits. He provided me a job last December. Amen! Despite having a pay cut, I took the job believing that the door God has opened is always the best.
I was not too comfortable and happy in the job, but every day I sought God and asked him for his purpose for putting me there. One day the company said they were moving to the city. I was very sad as I cannot travel to the city with kids in school. Every day while driving to work, I cried out to the Lord, "Oh what do I do next?". Suddenly one day, one of my ex-managers in another company called me and asked if I was interested in a role... and the company offers flexibility, better pay and is in the suburbs. The Lord is good! I had complete trust in the Lord and he lead me through. The Lord knows our struggles and he will act as we are patient and allow him to. In his time, he makes all things beautiful. All glory to God!
