Salvation Through a Rap

Every fortnight the Young Adults go in to the Dandenong Hospital as an outreach ministry. They essentially hold a church service; they sing, have activities and share the gospel in creative ways. Andria shares this story:
Last month we had our first salvation! Michael Bradea, one of our regular volunteers, is a Christian rapper and he performed for the people at the hospital. After his performance a young lady came up asking for prayer and wanting God in her life. She has struggled with anxiety for years and initially felt a lot of anxiety when she heard Christians were coming to the ward. But when Michael introduced himself she began to feel safe because she has a little brother named Michael who is also a rapper. As she listened to his lyrics about God she felt calm and decided she wanted God in her life. Luckily, we had brought some Bibles this week and we passed one to her. She was so happy to have a bible and said she wanted to read it straight away. She also said she wanted to check out CityLife and maybe even help with youth and young people. Praise God!
