The term ‘apologetics’ is taken from the Greek word ‘apologia’, which means to ‘make a defence’. It has come to mean the way in which a follower of Christ defends their faith; Christianity. This is done by defining who Jesus is, the reliability of the Bible, refuting cults, showing Biblical evidences in the history and archaeology, answering objections and more. In an increasingly pluralistic society, followers of Christ need to be equipped to be able to explain why they have the hope that they have, with gentleness and respect.
Ravi Zacharias International Ministries exists to reach and challenge those who shape the ideas of culture with the credibility of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. On this weekend we are privileged to host internationally renowned speakers from this ministry, Ravi Zacharias and Michael Ramsden.
Ravi will speak at all church services except the 6pm service on Saturday. Michael Ramsden will speak at the 6pm service and will also speak at the special two-night Apologetics Seminar on Sunday and Monday evening. Prepare to have your heart touched and your intellect challenged.
