I just wanted to share a story about 'Motherhood'. I attended one of the mornings and it was great, but I had to rush off to my maternal health appointment. Something great happened there at the Health Centre. The maternal health care nurse asked me what appointment I had that morning and I told her about 'Motherhood'. I described what it was about and gave her one of the little laminated hand-out of the dates. She sounded excited about it and told me she would tell any of the new mothers she shes that need a bit of extra support, so we may be getting extra people turn up. Also, she said she may ring the church and get a syllabus for next year's dates of the meetings.
It's exciting that something so routine provided an opportunity for outreach.
