We praise God for what He has been doing through our Life Group fellowship.
A few months ago, we met a grieving father and began building a friendship with his family. They were grieving the heartbreaking loss of their child. We have been inviting them to fellowship but because of their work schedules, it is tricky sometimes. Still, we continued to stay connected, encourage them through God’s Word, and kept them in our prayer.
The father often asked difficult questions about pain, loss, and faith—questions we could not always answer directly because we could never fully grasp the depth of what they were going through. So, we simply pointed him to God’s Word and trusted the Holy Spirit to minister to them.
To our surprise and joy, they were finally able to attend our Life Group fellowship this week.
What amazed us even more was how God moved that day. One of our members had invited her friend to the fellowship, and we later discovered that she had experienced the sudden loss of a child as well. She was able to speak into the family’s situation with a depth of understanding and comfort that none of us could provide on our own. She answered many of the father’s questions through her personal testimony and became a source of encouragement and hope to them.
It was such a powerful reminder that the Holy Spirit orchestrates every detail. God used Life Group not only to bring people together, but to connect two families through shared experience, healing, and faith. We witnessed firsthand how God’s timing is perfect and how He uses His people to minister to one another in ways beyond our own ability.
Praise God for His guidance, His compassion, and the way He continues to move through fellowship and community.
