We invited our new neighbours to join us for a garage sale; we were fundraising for the building project and for Cambodia. We had another garage sale to fundraise for a couple from church and, again, we invited the neighbours to join us, which they did. They asked lots of questions and discovered I gather goods from people and disseminate these items to people in need. This couple has such generous hearts and loves to help people in need. They just needed a channel to do so and I was going to be that conduit for them in this season. In the following weeks they (brought) many bags full of goods, just wanting to give however they could. I was able to distribute the goods to those in need. (One day) my neighbour asked, "Does your church have things that people can volunteer in to help people out who are in need?" I was able to connect them to CityLife Community Care. I love watching God commune with their hearts. God is at work!
