A member of our congregation was sitting in the foyer area after the CityLife Community Care Christmas lunch, when she started chatting to a client who had just been to the lunch. The client started sharing how much she enjoyed the Christmas lunch and how it was the highlight of her year. She often experienced social isolation but said that coming to the lunch made her feel really special, and loved. I guess even if it only makes one person feel valued, it's all worth it.
