When faced with things beyond my control, I often felt weak and helplessness. For the first time in a long time, I tried to pray and entrust the matter to the Lord. Although the outcome was the opposite of what I had hoped for, I also felt peace and comfort. Matthew 6:8 "For your Father knows your needs before you ask." From the moment I first stepped into church to attend worship, the messages I heard and the lyrics of the songs felt like the Lord was speaking directly to me, giving me answers. I started to attend Alpha and Life Group. The experiences, insights, and messages I gained and received during the sessions showed me God’s hand over my life and nothing was accidental! The Lord did not abandon me in the thirty-three years without him; I am so grateful for this reconnection with him. Where else can one find such peace and blessing?
