Last year I joined a photography group and made some friends. I was just chatting to a fellow photographer during a shoot and he shared that he recently got engaged. I shared about how I met my husband and that I can see God’s hand in our story. I also shared with him that in the first few years of our marriage, we had godly people around us who guided us through a tough season, which made our marriage stronger. He shared that he was actually a pastor’s kid, but backslid, but he was encouraged by my story. He is now thinking of going back to church because he wants his future wife and family to grow up knowing God.
