I have an
acquaintance at work - I’ve met him only two or three times this year. We
connected at our first meeting perhaps because of our similar backgrounds in
learning, work and family. At our second or third meeting I began sharing my
story of how our family became Christians and what church I am currently
serving and attending. A few months later, he and his family showed up one
Sunday morning in church! What a surprise! God loves him so much and brought
him to CityLife. And a few weeks later he joined my Life Group and at one of
our gatherings he shared amazing stories about what happened before meeting me
in the workplace and how Jesus led him to church after my stories and
eventually how he came to the Life Group. God works in mysterious ways to bring
people back to Him! Amen!
