Prior to knowing Jesus I lived a life full of depression
and darkness. I always felt as if I had something missing, I grew up going to
youth group but nothing ever resonated with me. It wasn’t until earlier this
year when I prayed to God and asked Jesus if he was real. God was quick to
answer my prayer and gave me wisdom, I knew that I wanted to live a life
following Christ for he had paid my debts that no good deeds could ever pay.
After consistently reading the bible, studying and prayer, I know I need to
show the world that I am devoted to God and living just like Jesus did and
starting this new life, through baptism, by dying and become anew. Thank you so
much CityLife for guiding me back to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
