Just this week I was praying for a friend who doesn't yet
know Jesus. She has significant health issues and I felt prompted to message
her and send her a scripture (without saying it was a scripture). She responded
saying that those words had been so life giving to her that day. In that moment
I realised that as I've been praying for her, God had been preparing her heart
to receive his words of Life. Like Ezekiel 31 (the valley of dry bones), I
believe God prompted me to seek him first and out of that led me to do
something out of the ordinary to serve my friend in a personal and meaningful
way. Only God's ways and timing are perfect.
