Seven years ago at Christmas dinner, my son-in-law's mother
had an argument with the family which was never resolved. He would try to
connect by ringing her but she wouldn't pick up, so he left messages. After a
few years he gave up trying. His mother never tried to talk to him. The family
prayed, engaged in spiritual warfare and asked God to move in the situation.
Seven years past and I think 7 is the number for completion, where God was
doing a work in her and her son, and was this year completed. She rang up as
she had a need, which led to agreeing to a meeting at a cafe, where they had
lunch and talked about past memories. When she saw how the grandchildren had
grown and flourished, she cried as she realised how much she'd missed out on
their development and milestones they had achieved in their lives. So prayer is
powerful even if it takes much time, as God works what we can't see in the
natural. At the right time we get results. Praise God for who He is - we never
have to worry, just pray.
