We open our house on Christmas
day to anyone who has no place to go. We pray that people will come and be
blessed and that those that don't yet know Jesus will join us to. This year we
had a young woman who we had never met before come along. After we said grace
for the meal she asked us what we were doing - having grown up as a Buddhist,
she had never heard of Christian prayer before or witnessed it. We got to share
with her about Jesus and our faith over Christmas dinner. By the end of dinner,
she was connected to a Young Adults Life Group and she has attended the weekend
service a few times since. She regularly spends time with her YA Life Group
too. We are continuing to pray that as she learns more about Jesus, that she
would come to follow Him with her whole life.
