On 28 August 2021, following a
visit to the doctor, I was admitted to hospital in pain with a suspected gall
bladder infection. As I was being prepared for surgery, I discovered 2 of my
surgical team were born-again Christians and they were praying with and for me.
My wife also alerted our prayer team at church. As they conducted all the tests
I felt no pain whatsoever. After 14 days I am now home again, gall-bladder
still intact and no pain in my body. I give God all the glory for putting the
right people around me, and His healing in answer to prayer. During my
hospitalization, my grand-daughter was permitted to sit for her Driver's
Licence in Covid lockdown as requested by my doctor's letter so she could care
for us, her grand-parents. (I am not allowed to drive for 4 weeks and my wife
has never driven). She got it first go and is already driving my wife and I to
appointments and for grocery shopping. Truly, our God is so faithful and never
forsakes us. He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
