We have just moved house and have been praying for the
neighbours on our street. We met them briefly at our house auction and they are
all extremely friendly. With lockdowns we’ve only been able to have the odd few
conversations but have been welcomed by everyone when invited to join the
street messenger group. However, on Tuesday lunchtime we started walking our
dog and a neighbour came out to do the same and walked with us to show us a
good walking track. She’s from the UK and we were able to chat about our common
heritage and tell her about church as we walked. She responded positively.
Looking forward to reaching out to our neighbours and building more connections
as restrictions ease.
