I have been struggling with several addictions for many years and that has always hindered my relationship with God. I was recently reminded that no matter how hard we try, we can never attain God’s standards but that is precisely why Jesus came to reconcile us back to God. We don’t have to be perfect, we can come as we are; and allow Him to transform us through His power and not by our own strength.
