Due to circumstances beyond my control, my life was turned
upside down. Just when I thought retirement was looming and life was cosy, God
decided otherwise. After months of depression, I was given a reason to get out
of bed in the morning, as I signed up for a volunteering gig to help others in
my local community. Volunteering became my lifeline. Helping people who are
experiencing even more challenging situations than mine, has played a large
part in my healing. I am overwhelmed by the wisdom of God in my life. He is
merciful, loving and kind.
