Every day I pray for God’s protection over my family members. Recently I have felt the Holy Spirit prompting me to include my siblings and their families too in this daily prayer. A few days ago I learned of my brother's near drowning when a kayak he was in turned over and his life jacket (not fitted properly) did not keep him afloat, causing him to nearly drown if not for people coming to his aid and dragging him to safety. I just praise God for His protection that saved his life that day. Prayer is powerful and the Holy Spirit leads us in our prayers.
