I was picking up my bag from the kitchen counter and tipped a cup over. I was expecting it to smash into pieces but somehow it was intact, nothing broken. The next day, I took my son to soccer and the weather was wild - heavy rains and winds. I just prayed and the kids were listening, “God, when his game starts, it would be good if it stops raining so I can watch the game. It’s ok if it doesn’t, but I wanted to ask :)”. And just on time, the sun came out and the sky cleared. I watched the game under the beautiful sunshine. This is how much God loves us – we might get knocked down but he protects us from being hurt. Rains and winds may come but he brings the sunshine as we pray, he doesn’t withhold good things from us. He knows just want we need. Praise God for his goodness and kindness.
