Vision 2020 - No Limits

We serve a God who is unlimited in every aspect. All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to one person – Jesus Christ. We believe that we can do all things through Him who strengthens us and therefore we believe that there are no limits on what God can do through us. We know that He can do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us. Therefore, in this next season, we will focus on becoming a people who set ‘no limits’ on their own potential and what God can do through CityLife Church.

We see CityLife as a church where everyone can encounter God and discover His purpose for our lives. A place where people belong and are activated to grow, develop and play their part. We are a creative church; a faith-filled church which communicates the timeless truth of the Gospel to help people to encounter and respond to God. We are about being disciples and making disciples. Through this journey of encounter, growth, and investment in others, we see increasing influence across communities, cities, and nations.

Encounter

We will expectantly pursue an increase in the life and activity of the Holy Spirit so that we are built and transformed in our discipleship journey through faith‐filled experiences of God's presence, grace, and power.

Develop

We will inspire a new commitment to be disciples who make disciples. We will provide new training and equipping opportunities to enable people to develop their character and capacity, and to release their potential.

Create

We will inspire people to respond to the timeless truth of the gospel by leveraging creativity in ways that are relevant to their generation and context. We will foster an environment of faith and a culture of possibilities.

Influence

We will reach new communities by establishing new congregations. We will reach further into our local communities by mobilising each of our congregations around specific local needs through our community impact ministries and partnerships. We will reach out to communities globally through our missions partners strengthening existing congregations and planting churches.

We want to go beyond what has been and see our church enter its most fruitful season ever. Together, we can have the impact God is wanting us to have.
