“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.” John 3:16-17

Through the bible we see the power and nature of God in the person of Jesus. Jesus points us to a God who is personal and loving. He reveals to us the father heart of God and as a father, God wants a close and intimate relationship with all of us.

It is at the cross that we discover the deepest expression of God’s love and the depth of his passion for each one of us. At the cross, God showed he loved us so much he willing to die on our behalf rather than allows us to spend an eternity separated from him. Jesus’ death and resurrection shows us that there is a power in the universe that goes beyond the grave. It is a power that is stronger than life and death itself.
